Scope

The Interuniversity Interdepartmental Postgraduate Master Degree Program’s “Disease of the nose, maxillofacial area and cranial base” subject is on the diseases of the nose, paranasal sinuses, skull base and facial area.

The aim of the MSc is to provide a high level of education for obtaining a postgraduate degree,  and in particular:

  • Postgraduate Teaching, Research and Hands-on Training in the diseases of the nose, paranasal sinuses, skull base and facial area.

  • Training - specialisation of young doctors in the scientific field of the diseases of the nose, paranasal sinuses, skull base and facial area, such as endoscopic surgery, treatment of nasal diseases, sleep disorders, olfactory and gustatory disorders and diseases of skull base and facial area.

  • In-depth training of doctors to enable them to produce new knowledge.

The Interuniversity Interdepartmental Postgraduate Program leads to the award of a Postgraduate Master Degree Diploma in “Diseases of the nose, maxillofacial area and cranial base”.

Admission of graduates

Admitting graduates of domestic Departments of Medicine and Departments of recognized equivalent institutions of abroad, holding the specialist title of ENT, Neurosurgery, Plastic Surgery, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, or at least they have completed a specialty training of one year in ENT, Neurosurgery, Plastic Surgery or Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Duration of Program

The duration for the award of the Postgraduate Master Degree Diploma (MSc) is set at three (3) semesters.

Number of Admission Graduates

The number of admission graduates to the program per year is up to thirty (30).

Fees

The fees of the Interuniversity Interdepartmental Postgraduate Master Degree Program are €4,000.
